What streets will be affected by the course on race day?
The event reaches out to community residents, businesses, and other organizations with details about street closures that may impact surrounding neighborhoods. For more information on street closures, click HERE.
Do you have a lost and found in case I lose something?
Yes. If you are missing a personal item, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (575) 7EP-TROT. Our lost and found on the day of the race is located near the First Aid tent where extra t-shirts will be sold.
Who are the charities for this year?
This year we have selected two charities.
Illinois Spina Bifida Association
The Illinois Spina Bifida Association works statewide to improve the quality of life of children, adults, and families living with spina bifida, a lifelong neurological condition that affects the spine and is usually apparent at birth.
Huntington's Disease Society of America - Illinois Chapter
HDS is the world's leader in providing help for today and hope for tomorrow for people with Huntington's disease and their families. They provide a seamless connection for help, education, and outreach to Huntington's disease families and health care professionals across the United States.

I cannot run the race. Will you mail my t-shirt to me?
No. We are unable to mail out t-shirts if they are not picked up. However, someone may pick up your shirt at one of our packet pick-up opportunities if they have your confirmation email or QR available.
Are pets allowed along the course?
No. For the safety of your pets and our participants, pets are not allowed.
What about wagons, strollers, bikes, etc.?
Strollers and wagons are allowed. Bikes, scooters, rollerblades, and skateboards are not. Strollers and wagons are to start at the back of the race for the safety of our runners.
Is this a timing chip race or a qualifying race?
No. We have clocks located at the mile markers. This run is meant to be a family friendly fun run to raise money for charity.
What are the clock locations?
Clocks are located at the start/finish, the first mile marker, and the second mile marker.
What is the last chance to sign up online?
Online registration is available up until the start of the race. However, prices increase the week of the race.
Can 3-10 year olds who run the Gobble Gallop also run the 5K?
Yes, they may participate with their parents.
